Mana Mokopuna submission on 2026 Budget Policy Statement

The Budget Policy Statement sets out how the Government plans to spend funds in the next financial year. Mana Mokopuna has called for the Government to consider the explicit needs of mokopuna, and consider doing an impact assessment to ensure policies will uphold children’s rights. In particular we are concerned about how the Budget will reduce child poverty rates.
